That means Tumblr has not flagged my profile as “Sensitive”.
Don’t allow your wounds to turn you into a person you are not.
annastrxng asked:
🌎 - Does your muse want to change the world? How would they go about it?
Inez is not too devoted to the idea of changing the world. She wants to take care of her corner of it but she figures that the rest of the world can take care of itself. She lets some of her other friends, like Mary and JD, be idealistic for her.
If she was going to change the world, she would either take a sensible course like running a soup kitchen, or it would be something self-sacrificing to protect someone she cares about. She is the kind of person who would throw herself on the proverbial grenade if it saved someone she cared about or if it was for a cause she believed in but not simply because it was for the greater good of society. She is just generally not that altruistic by her nature. She is not selfish but she has a sense of self-preservation and tends to let that lead the way.
👻 - Does your muse believe in an afterlife? What do they think it’s like?
Inez does believe in an afterlife. Being Roman Catholic, she believes in Heaven and is reluctant to speculate too much on what it is like. She knows it will be beautiful, and a place of peace, rejoicing and reunions. She also knows it will be a place of eternal praise to God, joining in with all of the other faithful. Beyond that, she is reluctant to start coming up with descriptions, as she feels it is not right to make things up about Heaven. It is not quite a sin, but it is also not quite appropriate…
Since I seem to be doing more threads that involve Dad!Vin and Mom!Inez, particularly verses were they’re married to each other, and I have long hinted that there are many Tanner children in this arrangement, I have finally organized them.
· Mateo (Verse dependent, Inez and Paulo’s son. In verses were he exists, he’s normally between four and six as a default, ages in relation to the other children around him)
· Vidal (Inez’s nephew. Seven when he comes to live with his aunt and uncle after the death of Inez’s brother Francisco and his wife Sofia.)
· Alona (Inez’s niece. Five when she comes to live with his aunt and uncle after the death of Inez’s brother Francisco and his wife Sofia.)
· Estella (oldest biological Vin/Inez baby.)
· Katrina (Eighteen months younger then Estella)
· Natalia (One year younger then Katrina)
· Alejandra (Fifteen months younger then Natalia)
· Isabella (Two-and-a-half-years younger than Alejandra)
· Alma (Three years younger than Isabella)
· Luis (Fifteen months younger then Alma)

Inez had to laugh, realizing that her distracted words had accidently given Jenny the wrong impression. Still, Jenny’s words were an accurate explanation of many celebrity relationships.
“Well I meant that looks are as valid a reason as any to talk to strangers, and many happy marriages start off as blind chances inspired by someone thinking another person is attractive. Still, you are right that continuing a relationship with someone just because they look good standing next to you is very shallow.”
At Jenny’s self-defeating words, Inez shook her head. “You’ll be surprised, I think, once you start meeting people. You always underestimate how easy and interesting you are to talk too.”
Once Jenny and Vin had re-established contact, with Inez’s support and assistance, the couple had made it their mission to keep pushing Jenny back into the world of adult relationships. Her teaching was her passion but she had expand beyond that. The one thing the couple had agreed on, however, was that they should not introduce her to Buck. While Buck was a decent man, they both doubted that Jenny would emotionally survive Buck’s rapid, passionate courtship and how he just as quickly notice a new woman. Almost all of Buck’s ex’s loved him as a friend and a good time, but Jenny needed someone more stable. Jenny would blame herself as soon as Buck’s attention strayed; convinced she had done something wrong, when the reality was that Buck was simply not monogamous by his nature.
When Jenny finally gave the grudging admission that she would probably like the play at the least, Inez grinned. “Of course you will! And we won’t be at the party too long anyways. Vin wants to get out before Ezra suggests a poker game with the goal of recouping the costs of the party.”
That would assure Jenny that, at the very least, Inez and Vin would not force her to stay out of her comfort zone for hours. They would be out just long enough to let Jenny stretch it a bit.
At Jenny’s next observation, Inez grinned again. “Yes I do! Several actually—I want you to pick.”
Jenny did not have much that Inez would have considered party clothes. Still, she pulled out a soft golden-yellow dress, a fluffy pink one, and a dark reddish one with cream-colored trim. She laid all of them out on the bed and smoothed the fabrics before turning toward her.
“Here,” She stepped back and gestured at the bed with a flourish. “Which one do you like best? You can try them on—we have time.”
